Kind of a busy picture. But you can make out the first wing section being born.
I was fighting between rain and, just a few days later, 100+ temps during the day. Definitely slowing progress. It's a radial pattern made with 1/2 electrical conduit. It's made extra complicated by slicing across it with a straight piece of 2x2 box steel to provide strength and a pivot point for the hinges. The wings have the ability to fold so the width can be reduced to 12 feet. This allows it to be driven on Burning Man's streets.
